멸종 위기 곤충 프로젝트 insect project
#기후위기 로 곤충들이 사라지면 어떻게 될까? 곤충 프로젝트는 곤충의 미래와 인간의 미래가 연결되어 있다는 사실을 환기시키고자 하는 프로젝트 입니다. 그러나 디스토피아적인 이미지가 아닌, 생물다양성을 보존하고 우리의 생활을 바꾸자는 메시지를 주고 싶었습니다. 한국의 멸종 위기 곤충 10종을 리서치하고, 아이들의 모습으로 수채화로 그렸습니다. 캔버스화에는 곤충 아이들이 즐겁게 뛰노는 대자연의 성을 상상하여 작업했습니다. 작업들은 2022년 태국과 한국에서 각각 전시합니다.
Insects do a lot of things that humans didn't even think of. If insects disappear, disasters will occur including severe food shortages. We have to pay attention to insects and see if they are ok.
The place where extinct insect children play is Mother nature’s castle. We're visitors to this planet for a while, not owners who can do whatever we want. This painting is praying that the environmental pollution on Mother Earth will stop and biodiversity will continue.
